Following are the objectives of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
 

Under sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, All the Children shall be enrolled in PS, MS and EGS.
 

All the Children complete 8 years of Primary Education by 2007.
 

Satisfactory quality of education shall be ensured with emphasis on education for life.
 

Bridge all the gender and social category gaps at Primary stage by 2007 and elementary level by 2010.
